Road Trip

I took a road trip to Los Angeles with my friends Emmie, Jaleah, and Blake. We went to Six Flags, the beach, Santa Monica Pier, Disney Land, and Universal Studios.

First stop on our road trip was the St. George temple, I hadn't been there since Tonya got married.

Next I was the only one in the car who hadn't been to Vegas, so they drove me down The Strip. Forgive the pictures, it was early in the morning and we were in a moving car.

Give me a break we were far away.

Jaleah and I

We went to Six Flags the first day, I was nervous, but I had no idea I loved roller coasters so much.

I Wish We All Could Be California Girls!

Ah, the beach...

Santa Monica Pier is pretty exciting, people trying to sell you things, singing for money, etc... wow.

Not attractive, I know but we ate at Bubba Gump Shrimp. You may all be shocked since I don't like seafood, well let me tell you, yum!

It Really Is The Happiest Place On Earth!!!

23 years old and my first time to Disney Land!

See, it really is Disney Land!

It's a Small World after all...

Now, does that look real to you? It isn't, it's only a painting at Universal Studios, at one point we were going to run back to another ride before the park closed, my friend Jaleah (who I consider to be fairly intelligent) ran off into the wrong direction, we should have let her keep going to see if she would have ran into the canvas wall.

Ryan and Tera were there with Allie and Carter so we got to see them. Tera and the kids went to bed and since they couldn't ride a lot of the rides Ryan wanted to he came back out at night and played with us. Lots of fun!

Magic Mountain! Yes, magical!

Ahhh, what a wonderful day!

Last Day of Fun...

Yes we did go to church... it was in spanish, so I didn't get all of it, but we did go!

I'm not sure what J is doing to me in this picture.

Me, Emmie, and Jaleah, right before we went home...

Easter

I didn't do much for Easter. I went to a bridal shower and when I got home my roomies were decorating Easter eggs, so I joined in.

Hare Krishna! (Festival of Colors)

Hare Krishna! This is The Festival of Colors. I may have been converted and didn't even know it. This is a Hindu temple, they celebrate triumph of good over evil. They burn a "demon" then everyone throws colorful chalk on each other! Good times, as you can see!

Scared?

I didn't go shooting as much as I wanted to, especially for getting a lot of amo and clays for Christmas... it's ok. Roo and I decided to go out one day. It was pretty fun, then again it usually is. We had a good time.

Snow!

If that fake little snowboard looks like fun... it was! Until...well I didn't take a picture of the bruise on my backside because I would like my blog to be family friendly, but ouch! That is hard ground under that snow! It was fun tubing, mom and dad even went down the hill a few times. Mom got stuck in the snow one time and was having such a good time she couldn't stop laughing.

After Hour Activities...

Well Sasha and Ella were so exhausted they just caught up on some z's on the couch. I know Sasha already posted this picture, but I was snapping pics with my camera and hers I thought it was so cute. "Catchphrase" was a hit with our family this year. Good thing we have our own code of "yeasty substance" and "raindrop nuts" sure helped out the rest of the games. Ella did my hair, don't I look good!? Markie got an ipod and so did I for Christmas so we were "sharing". Don't I look good in her hat. It was so much fun just spending time together. I loved it!
