My Apologies
I realize it's been almost a year since I have posted anything, I will do better. Just in case anyone follows or even remembers I have a blog. So, instead of trying to catch up like everyone else does, I will be much less ambitious and just start from the past two weeks or so... sorry. Not a lot has happened anyway, well at least not picture worthy... ;) Enjoy!
Markie and Tonya's Visit
Tonya and Markie came to stay with me for a couple of days. Markie needed to check out one of the schools up here to decide if she wants to come... keep your fingers crossed folks! We did a lot/I did too much shopping. We went out to eat, made some delicious stir fry, (thanks Ton!) and went to the Tulip Festival. It was so fun to have them here. Beware we got a little camera happy at the Festival.

We went to the Carl Bloch exhibit and browsed around after, those are books behind us!

Ton and I outside the museum.

So we went for a little drive in the mountains... pretty huh. I mean the mountains not just us.
Utah county...

If I recall as we went down the hill I said something like... "I don't know if this is a good idea." Kaitlyn said, "What's the worst that could happen?"

Ta da! That!
Poor Micah. His truck is stuck and he's with two girls.
We were very supportive though.
So we couldn't get the truck out and Micah left to get help. I was stuck with this for about an hour... I LOVE her! Ha!
Micah's dad saved the day! Yay!

Sealing In Nauvoo
Did you know Moroni on the original temple had wings...weird.

Beautiful Nauvoo temple!

Beautiful Nauvoo temple!
I was waiting for them to take us up to the sealing room and went to wait in a different room and realized I was looking out of those windows! So cool!

So I was VERY blessed to be invited to the sealing of a family I taught on my mission. Andrea has been a member for I think seven years. Kirk had visited with the missionaries before my companion and I got there. We decided either drop this guy or baptize him. So we planned a lesson and tada! What a great family! I loved every minute of this trip! It was the sweetest thing to see these three sealed forever, and neat to see how they have grown in their testimonies...sigh.
